Tram packed with kids witnesses troubling fight on Chapel Street

A heavily-pregnant woman has been left shaken after two groups of what appeared to be “very drug-affected” people hurled obscene insults and spat at each other on a tram packed with kids.

Jodie rang Tom Elliott after witnessing the incident shortly before 4pm on the 78 tram heading down Chapel Street.

“It was just awful.”
