Transport planner ‘moved on’ after offering criticism about Western Distributor
Independent transport planner William McDougall was asked to give advice to the state government about the Western Distributor.
He told Tom Elliott he gave frank and fearless advice about possible flaws in the project to treasurer Tim Pallas.
A week later, he was moved on.
“It was disappointing,” Mr McDougall said on 3AW Drive.
Tom Elliott said on face value, it didn’t look good for the Victorian Government.
“I smell a rat,” he said.
