Trio on drugs charges given bail after raid on inner-north property

Police have charged three people with drug trafficking after raiding a property in Melbourne’s inner-north this morning.

But the trio, a 24-year-old woman, 52-year-old man and a 43-year-old man, were bailed to appear in court next month.

A search warrant was executed at a home in Flemington about 8am today, and the trio were arrested at the scene following the discovery of what is believed to be a quantity of heroin.

Police seized quantities of what is alleged to be heroin and cannabis, a quantity of cash, two mobile phones and four laptops.

Eleven Apple laptops which police believe were stolen were also found at the address.

The two men and one woman were charged with traffick heroin, possess heroin, handle stolen goods and possess proceeds of crime.

The woman was also charged with possess cannabis.
