Truck loses load going under rail bridge in Melbourne’s inner north

A truck has lost its load travelling under a rail bridge in Melbourne’s inner north, blocking the entire road.

Caller Kathy told Denis Walter the truck has hit the bridge between Merri Creek and Rushall stations on Merri Parade in Fitzroy North.

“A truck has proceeded to go under a bridge, quite a large truck,” she said.

“He has made it, but his skip has not made it.

“So that is currently blocking the whole road.”
