Turner drink drive charge ‘bitterly disappointing’
North Melbourne small forward Kayne Turner has been hit with a 4-week club imposed suspension following his drink-driving charge on Sunday morning.
The incident is ‘bitterly disappointing’ for Kayne and the club, according to coach Brad Scott.
‘We’re bitterly disappointed to put it mildly,’ Scott told 3AW Sports Today.
‘Kayne for a start is injured and shouldn’t be drinking alcohol at all, let alone getting behind the wheel.
‘We’re really disappointed on a number of fronts.’
Turner is currently recovering from a hamstring injury and will serve his suspension once he is fit.
