TV with Jane: Dhakota Williams’ tell-all TV interview ‘uncomfortable viewing’

The much-hyped tell-all interview of the teenaged daughter of notorious gangland figure Carl Williams has been described as uncomfortable viewing.

During her TV with Jane segment on 3AW Mornings, Jane Holmes said the interview with 17-year-old Dhakota Williams was hugely promoted.

The interview aired on 60 Minutes and also featured Roberta Williams.

“It rated more than Sunday Night, both programs were beaten by ABC’s Jack Irish,” she said.

“It left me with a bad taste in my mouth, and I wrote down while I was watching it, why are we watching this, why?”

“It was a really uncomfortable, what amounted to, an hour.

“I just don’t find it edifying entertainment, I think it’s setting her up for a fall, rather than the quiet productive life, but that’s just my opinion.”
