There’s speculation much-loved Australian drama A Country Practice could be making a return to television screens, if a report in a magazine is anything to go by!

During her TV with Jane segment, Jane Holmes said it remains one of the longest running TV serials and has “trans-generational” appeal.

New Idea reports Fremantle Media has purchased the rights, and is planning a reboot with some original stars and some new faces.

“I was drawn to this like a moth to the flame!” Jane said.

“I think Fremantle may well buy the rights because it’s all about overseas sales these days.

“This show was lapped up by the overseas market.

“Would we want to see it again? Time will tell. I think it would be lovely.”
