Two arrested after brazen fatal Fitzroy shooting

A man and a woman have been arrested over the brazen fatal shooting of a man outside the Fitzroy public housing towers on Tuesday.

The more than 24-hour-long manhunt ended in Noble Park at about 5.30pm on Wednesday.

Special Operations Group officers arrested a 43-year-old Doveton man and a 21-year-old Yarraville woman on Dallimore Court.

Detectives also located the black Audi in South Yarra earlier today.

Police are still appealing for witnesses to come forward.
