Two Ballarat tobacco shops targeted in early morning crime spree

One tobacconist has been set alight and another rammed in an early morning crime spree in Ballarat with two cars set alight as well.

A caller on the scene, Jonothan Cooper described the scene as “bigger than he thought”.

“The main scene is in Peel Street and Little Bridge Street, and it’s a corner-type store, but the car is actually inside … the store,” he told 3AW Breakfast.
