Two Belgium police officers killed in suspected Liege terror attack

A man who shot dead two Belgian police officers and a bystander has been killed by police.
The attacker opened fire on the officers, both women, before taking a cleaner hostage at a nearby school.
He was then cornered by police, who shot dead the attacker.
The man’s motive is not yet clear but the incident is being treated as terrorism.
A local radio station, RTBF, has reported the gunman was let out from prison on temporary release only days earlier. He had been serving time on drug offences.
