Two cars stolen from Doveton home after brazen aggravated burglary

Two new late model Holden Commodores have been stolen from a driveway in Doveton early this morning after a brazen aggravated burglary.

Heather Wright told Neil Mitchell she was rattled to wake up to find the car keys had been taken from her bedroom.

“Someone has come into our house in the middle of the night, in our bedroom door, taken our keys then taken our cars,” she said.

Her partner, who has leukaemia, purchased the black SSV Commodore recently.

“My partner is devastated, he’s got a form of leukaemia, and we bought the black car three months ago, we thought you only live once,” she said.

“He loves those cars.”

Heather told Neil Mitchell it was his dream car. She estimated their value at $60,000 each.

“These people have planned this,” she said.

The cars are a white 2015 SSV Commodore with the registration AHD530 and a black SSV Redline Commodore 2016 with the registration 1IG6PC.
