Two dangerous attacks on Victoria’s roads
Police are calling for public assistance after two dangerous incidents on Victoria’s roads yesterday.
A white Isuzi Tilter truck towing machinery was approaching an overhead walking bridge on the Western Freeway at Ballarat North yesterday morning when a piece of concrete struck the driver’s side windscreen, hitting the male driver in the chest.
The driver, a 50-year-old Invermay man, was able to pull over and call police.
he was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, a similar incident occurred at about 11.30pm last night in Bell Post Hill. A man was driving along Creamery Road when an object smashed his passenger side window as he was going under the Geelong Ring Road overpass.
