Two killed in deadly night on the roads in Melbourne’s south-east
Two men have died on Melbourne’s south-east roads overnight.
A 47-year-old Langwarrin man riding a mobility scooter was tragically killed after he was struck by a car on McClelland Drive shortly after 9pm on Wednesday night.
The driver of the car, a 62-year-old Sandhurst man, stopped to help and was uninjured.
Another man was killed in the early hours of Thursday morning after his car hit a power pole at Oakleigh South.
Police and emergency services were called to North Road crash site just after 2.20am.
Police will investigate to determine the cause of the crash.
