Two killed in separate crashes at Parkville and Lara
Two people have be killed in separate crashes on Victorian roads, Thursday morning.
The first fatality happened at Lara around 7.30am.
Police say a car has crossed over double lines on the Bacchus Marsh Geelong Road, clipping a truck and rolling.
The female passenger in the car died while male driver has been flown to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
About 20 minutes later at Parkville near Melbourne Zoo, a motorcyclist has clipped the rear of a Toyota RAV 4, coming off his bike and skidding several metres.
He later died in hospital; the driver of the car is speaking with police.
The state’s road toll stands at 139, down from 157 at the same time last year.
