Two men arrested following reports of gunshot at Craigieburn

Two men have been arrested following a firearm incident at Craigieburn.

The pair allegedly fired a gun during an altercation with the occupants of a vehicle on Craigieburn Road around 2pm on Tuesday.

Nobody is believed to have been injured.

Two men, aged 25 and 27, were arrested in Diane Avenue roughly three hours later.

They are assisting police.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident, however aren’t looking for any other suspects.

Several witnesses rang during the ordeal.

‘It gave me a big fright,’ Carly, who was shopping nearby, told Tom Elliott.
