Two men injured, one flown to hospital following aggravated burglary at Lilydale

Two men have been injured, one flown to hospital following an aggravated burglary in Lilydale.

Police were called to the property on Mitchell Road, Lilydale around 5.20am on Monday.

They found two men who they say had suffered serious injuries.

one of the men has since been flown to the Alfred Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

A second man has been taken by road to hospital, he’s listed a stable.

Detectives are yet to reveal any details, including whether anything was stolen, whether weapons were used and how many offenders were involved.
