Two men killed in Bellarine house fire

Two men have died after an early morning house fire on the Bellarine Peninsula.

Police are investigating the cause of the blaze, which took hold of the home on Powell Street in Ocean Grove, about 4am today.

It’s believed the men are father and son.

Police believe the men are a 90-year-old and a 57-year-old but say formal identifications are yet to be made.

The cause of the Powell St fire is yet to be determined and the investigation is ongoing.
