Two more killed as Victoria’s road toll soars
Victoria’s road toll continues to soar, with another two motorists killed on Tuesday night.
A motorcyclist became the 20th rider to die on the state’s roads this year after he collided with a ute at Somerville at 8.30pm.
Police confirmed another man was killed when his car crashed off the Peninsula Link at McCrae and burst into flames at around 5.15pm on Tuesday.
Victoria’s road toll in 2016 stands at 65.
It was 51 at the same time last year.
