Two men hospitalised after violent home invasion in Victoria’s north
Police are investigating a violent armed robbery in the state’s north overnight that’s left two people in hospital.
Two offenders broke into the home in Garnet Circuit in Wodonga at about 12.30am, threatening the three occupants with a firearm and demanding money.
Police have been told a male victim was struck in the head with the gun before he grabbed a kitchen knife and lunged at the offender.

The victims managed to wrestle the firearm off the offenders, prompting them to flee on foot.
Two male victims, aged 61 and 29, have been hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries.
