Two people injured after plane crashes into paddock near Stawell

Two people have been injured after a plane crashed in a paddock near Stawell in western Victoria.

The fixed-wing aircraft came down at Black Range, north of Stawell airport, at 12.45pm.

The men, believed to be aged in their 40’s, were flown to hospital with life threatening injuries.

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau is investigating the cause.
