Two people shot across Melbourne, following shootings at Dallas and Jacana

Two people been shot in Melbourne’s north overnight but police don’t believe the incidents are linked.

The two shootings happened within a couple of hours of each other – the first in Dallas Drive, Dallas at around 12.30am on Thursday.

A man in his 20s turned up to hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.

The second shooting happened at Jacana, less than 5 kilometres away at 1.45am.

A man in his 20s was found in a car with a gunshot wound to his pelvis.

Armed Crime Squad detectives will speak with both men today but at this stage do not believe the incidents are related.
