Two police officers injured after their cars were rammed at Thornbury

Two police cars have been rammed by an allegedly stolen vehicle in Thornbury, leaving two officers injured.

The unmarked cars were pushed several metres after they managed to corner the Holden Colorado in a dead-end street around one this morning.

A short time later the Holden struck a car on St Georges Road Preston, no-one was injured.

The vehicle was found dumped in Reservoir around half past four morning and the driver remains on the run.
