Two teenagers arrested following overnight police chase

Two 16-year-old girls have been arrested overnight in Frankston, after a speeding Honda CR-V was spotted by officers, just after 1am.

Victoria Police spokesperson, Katherine McLeod, says the car eventually crashed into a fence after a short police chase.

“Initially the driver fled from the severely damaged vehicle, but she returned to the scene a few minutes later,” she told 3AW Breakfast.
