Two women attacked in hospital carpark

A man has been arrested after he allegedly assaulted two women in a carpark outside Monash Hospital.

Vicki told Dee Dee Dunleavy she arrived at the Clayton hospital with her grandson on Thursday to find a heavy police presence.

Police have since confirmed they’re investigating.

It is alleged a man assaulted two women in a car park on Clayton Road about 11.20am.

One of the women was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The other woman was not seriously injured.

A 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is assisting police.
