Two women attacked in nasty assault on a Melbourne train

A 21-year-old woman has been left with a fractured eye socket and another woman was dragged across the floor of a carriage in a nasty alleged assault on a Melbourne train last Tuesday.
Annette, the 21-year-old victim’s mother, told 3AW’s Tom Elliott a group of about 12 teenagers boarded the train at Caulfield and set upon her daughter in an unprovoked attack.

Transit police are investigating after two women were assaulted on a train at about 11pm on January 16 and a 14-year-old Dandenong girl has been spoken to by police.
