Two women climb Arts Centre spire

Police are negotiating with at least two women who are climbing the Arts Centre spire.

A spokesperson confirmed to Ross and John the climbers are the same women who hung from an Eastern Fwy overpass last week in a protest against refugee deportation.

Police were initially called about 3.30am.

The women are still climbing.
