‘Typical’: Caller voices frustration at Victoria’s container deposit scheme

Tony Jones, filling in for Neil Mitchell on 3AW Mornings, has been alerted to a photo of a refund point at a shopping centre in Mentone which was covered in tape, with Jones likening it to a “crime scene”.

The scheme got underway in Victoria last week, and caller Tony claims it’s “typical” from the state government that a refund point is inoperative already.

“We probably shouldn’t expect anything more,” he told Tony Jones.
