Uber finally looks set to be legalised in Victoria.

The Andrews’ Government, State Opposition and The Sex Party appear to be on the same page over the issue.

A private member’s bill will debated on Wednesday, with the backing of the opposition.?

The Premier says giving the ‘thumbs up’ to the controversial ride-sharing service is a step closer.

However, he says there’s still a few things to work through.

‘Let’s see how the debate unfolds in the upper house,’ Daniel Andrews said.
