Alex Wilson woke up on Monday morning to find significant panel damage had been done to his car overnight.

CCTV showed an Uber delivery driver dropping off food at a neighbouring property failed to put the park brake on and his car crashed into Mr Wilson’s parked vehicle.

He’s got the driver’s name, but hasn’t been able to get Uber to hand over his registration number, and police say it could take up to four months for them to get the information from Uber.

“We’ve kind of hit a brick wall,” Mr Wilson told Neil Mitchell.

Mr Wilson has been quoted between $3000 and $3500 to repair his vehicle.
