Victoria Police Sergeant Julie-Anne Newman told Ross and Russ, “What’s most concerning is that we haven’t been able to find the driver who left the scene. It goes without saying that we believe he may be injured.”

“The 2011 Toyota Kluger was left totally destroyed, and the driver’s whereabouts are unknown.”

“That 2011 Kluger was actually stolen five minutes before in a carjacking out at Laverton railway station,” she told 3AW Breakfast.
