‘Unfair’: Why Peter Ford has defended Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford has come to the defence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, after they were criticised for their appearance at a convention centre to support the victims of the Los Angeles wildfires.

Ford pointed out the hypocrisy of the criticism, and then stated “it just seems anything they do, they get criticised for,” he said on 3AW Breakfast.

“The same people who are criticising them for turning up would be the same ones criticising them if they didn’t turn up and didn’t do anything,” he said.

“As surprising as it may seem, for once I’m probably defending them.”
