Union boss says ‘obvious’ tipping point likely led to JobKeeper extension

ACTU boss Sally McManus says Victoria’s ongoing COVID-19 crisis was the “obvious” tipping point that saw the federal government extend JobKeeper until March next year.

“If they don’t continue to support businesses and working people, then a whole lot of them are going to fall over, for sure,” the union boss told Tom Elliott.
