RUMOUR CONFIRMED

The University of Melbourne is offering Aboriginal Australian staff and students special consideration for their assignments and time off due to the trauma caused by the Voice to Parliament referendum.

The Rumour File was tipped off to the offering on Tuesday, and it’s since been confirmed by the Herald Sun.

A letter sent to staff says special leave for Indigenous students and staff will remain until the end of 2023.

La Trobe University also offers special consideration for Aboriginal students and special leave for Indigenous staff, and Victoria University also offers special consideration.
