Activist claims Melbourne University profits off Israel-Hamas conflict as Pro-Palestine blockade continues
Pro-Palestinian protests at Melbourne University continue today with classes cancelled for Arts students. after protesters blockaded the Arts West building yesterday.
President of Australia Palestine Advocacy Network, Nasser Mashni, says the main goal of the protest is to stop the university from profiting off the conflict.
“They want the university to cut ties with Lockheed Martin, with BAE systems … they don’t want their degrees tained with the blood of innocent people,” he told Tom Elliott.
