Unknown ‘projectile’ fired through window of car at Corio
A woman has been left terrified after a projectile from an unknown vehicle smashed the rear window of her car near Geelong on Tuesday.
Police say the woman was driving on Melbourne Road at Corio when a man driving a maroon-coloured sedan flashed its lights at her.
He then forced her into the middle lane.
The next thing the victim knew, an unknown projectile has smashed the rear window of her vehicle.
The Belmont woman, aged in her 50s, was left shaken but uninjured.
Police remain on scene trying to determine what the projectile was and how it was fired.
The alleged offender remains on the run.
He’s thought to be aged in his 30s, scruffy looking and his sedan had tape over the passenger window.
