Up to 50 mums to breastfeed outside shop in “group-boobing” protest

Up to 50 mums are expected to breastfeed outside a Werribee store at 2pm on Friday after a mother was apparently told to stop by staff recently.

The mother was at the store in the plaza and began to breastfeed while her family members tried on clothes.

She was then told she couldn’t.

“I really thought we were past this,” Neil Mitchell said.

Carlie Davies heard about the incident and decided to organise the protest.

“We just want to raise awareness and let other stores this isn’t on and is illegal,” she said.
