Upcoming changes to migration strategy receives thumbs up from peak building industry association

The changes to the migration strategy has received a thumbs up from the country’s peak building industry association.

Chief executive officer of the Master Builder Association, Denita Wawn, says prior to the announcement, they’ve been asking the government for more skilled tradies.

“We’re of the view, we’ve not had enough focus on skilled migration,” she said.
