Update | Miss Muddy ticket holder manages to get a refund after charity events were called off around the country
A woman who lost over 80 kilograms and was working towards participating in a popular fun run event that has been called off says she has been able to get a full refund from her bank.
Tom Elliott first reported the Miss Muddy charity events had been cancelled across the country on Tuesday.

The company behind the events has gone into liquidation, after failing to sell enough tickets.
Stephanie told 3AW Drive she contacted her bank, ING, and was able to get a full refund after purchasing a pre-sale ticket.
She was one of thousands left out of pocket after who had purchased a ticket and believed she wouldn’t be getting a refund.
“Today I have had welcome news that I have a refund of $75.74,” she said.
Stephanie has managed to lose 83 kilograms.
“I was using it as a goal, on the 24 November it was going to be my hurrah moment, something to prove to myself I could do these things that I couldn’t do some time ago,” she said.
“I really looked forward to doing it, however it’s not an option.”
