Upper House MP with crucial euthanasia vote changes mind on the eve of the debate
Victoria’s controversial euthanasia law hangs in the balance as it moves to the Upper House this week, with one MP changing his mind on the eve of debate.
Jobs Party MP James Purcell told Neil Mitchell he would be now voting yes – with amendments – a change of mind that could play a big role in euthanasia becoming law.
“My understanding is that the numbers most be very close,” he said.
