‘Upset’ Disabled AFL fan left unable to attend elimination match

Update: The MCG has sent a disabled fan a parking ticket ahead of tonight’s match after his friend said he’d be unable to go.

A disabled footy fan has been left devastated after he was told there was no disabled parking available at the MCG ahead of tonight’s match between Carlton and the Demons.

He was able to make his first match last week, but according to his friend, Stephen, he won’t be able to attend tonight’s match.

“He hasn’t got alternative plans, he’s not gonna go … he can’t go to the footy if he can’t park outside,” he told Jimmy Bartel.
