Urgent evacuation warning in parts of Gippsland due to flash flooding

An emergency warning has been issued overnight for parts of Gippsland as water levels rise following heavy rain.

The areas impacted are parts of Tinamba, Tinamba West, Newry, Mew-burn Park, Bellbird Corner and Riverslea.

Those living, working or holidaying in the area are being advised to leave now.

Major flooding is also occurring downstream of Lake Glenmaggie, and at Wonnagatta River at Waterford.
