US Charg? d?Affaires Mr James Carouso in-studio

3AW Breakfast were joined by a special in-studio guest, US Charg? d’Affaires Mr James Carouso. Based in Canberra, Mr Carouso is currently the acting ambassador for the US with President Trump yet to appoint his full-time representative.

With the recent controversies surrounding US border and immigration control, namely a 90 day review placed on admitting people from certain countries, Mr Carouso doesn’t shy away from discussing Presidential orders,  ‘What President Trump decided is no secret, I may as well come in in and talk about it’. Having worked in diplomatic roles all over the world, Mr Carouso provided insights into the of life of a working career diplomat.
