US Consulate vandalised by pro-Palestinian protesters as part of big day of protests

The United States Consulate on St Kilda Road has been vandalised by pro-Palestinian protesters overnight.

3AW police reporter, Madelaine Burke, says red paint has been thrown at doors on the building.

“Windows have also been smashed, and there are holes in metal doors … They’re [police] not yet saying how many they’re looking for,” she told Ross and Russ.

The offices of MPs have also been targeted and a rally has been planned for later today.
