V/Line commuters warned to brace for ‘hugely disruptive’ strike

V/Line commuters are being urged to make alternative travel plans next Wednesday.

V/Line workers including conductors, train controllers, station staff and customer service staff will walk off the job between 3am and 7am on December 13 as part of industrial action.

Spokesperson for the Public Transport Users Association, Daniel Bowen, says it’ll “be hugely disruptive” and will have flow-on effects throughout the day.
