V/Line commuters warned to expect ‘significant’ disruptions on Thursday

V/Line passengers are being warned to expect “significant” disruptions due to industrial action on Thursday.

Rail Tram and Bus Union members will stop work from 3am to 7pm, with no V/Line trains to run during the stoppage.

“Significant” delays are expected throughout the morning as a result of flow-on effects from the early morning stoppage.

Very limited coach replacement services will run before 8am, with commuters warned to allow delays of two hours of more compare with normal journey times.
