Van plunges into massive Port Melbourne pothole

A courier van was left teetering on its side after careering nose-first into a massive city pothole this morning.

The dive happened on Bay Sreet near Raglan Street, beach-bound, at Port Melbourne about 6am this morning.

It’s believed the hole was caused by a burst water main.

The driver didn’t receive any serious injuries.

Traffic detours are in place.
