Word on the Street: Vandals deface new sports club with ‘profane’ graffiti

A new sports club and buldings in Beaumaris has been defaced just weeks after it opened.

Locals say the area has been targeted by mindless vandals.

She said there were numerous examples of buildings in the Bayside area being targeted with graffiti.

Word on the Street caller Katie told Tom Elliott on 3AW Drive she’d noticed a spike in graffiti in the area.

“I’ve noticed recently a massive increase in the amount of graffiti in the area not just in Beaumaris but across the Bayside area,” she said.

“I wonder what the council is going to do, what are the police going to do about it?”
