Vegan sausage sizzle at Bunnings Warehouse, Mentone

A vegan sausage sizzle at Bunnings in Melbourne’s south-east has created a bit of a stir.

Olivia told 3AW Mornings she’d been shopping at the Mentone store with her dad when they decided to grab a trademark snag on the way home.

That’s when things took a somewhat unexpected turn.

“We were a little shocked, considering it’s probably one of the most male dominated destinations in the country!” Olivia told Neil Mitchell.

“We were like … thank you, but no thank you.”

She said the stall was very quiet.

The sausage sizzle was raising funds for Cheltenham Cat Rescue.
