Verdict handed down in Bruce Lehrmann defamation trial

Justice Lee has dismissed the defamation case launched by Bruce Lehrmann against Channel 10 and news presenter Lisa Wilkinson.

He found the original interview broadcasted on The Project identified Lehrmann.

He also found, on a balance of probabilities, Lehrmann raped Brittany Higgins in Parliament house back in 2019.

He has not been found guilty, and the original criminal trial was thrown out after it was ruled a mistrial.
