Vermont man charged with murder after body found at Upper Ferntree Gully

A man has been charged with murder following the death of a man at Upper Ferntree Gully.

A passerby located the body of a 39-year-old Noble Park man in a carpark off Rollings Road on Saturday afternoon.

Detectives went to an address at Vermont on Monday night and arrested a 56-year-old man.

He has since been charged with one count of murder and will appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
